Cow Art – Molly and Dolly

Description

Molly and Dolly were painted after a chance encounter with a wonderfully curious herd of cattle who
came to greet me at the fence. Their playful personalities and unforgettable hairstyles instantly made
me smile — and I hope they do the same for you.
Molly, with her wild windswept fringe, and Dolly with her perfect crown of curls, quickly became
characters rather than simply cattle. Painted in acrylics with layered detail and texture, this piece
captures the warmth, humour and individuality animals bring into our lives.
Set against a simple rural backdrop with delicate barbed wire detail, Molly and Dolly celebrate
countryside life, connection and personality.
