Originally painted in 2020, this collection of Galloway cow prints holds a special place in my heart — they were the very first cows I ever painted. Inspired by the gentle herd just over the hill from my home, each artwork was created in waterinks and pen, capturing the charm, character, and quirks of these much-loved animals.
From Tufty, with her wild hair and feisty stare, to Smokey and her golden-tinged coat, and Little Blue, a soft-eyed beauty with the longest lashes — each one has its own story. Purple Rinse brings playful colour and curls, On the Fence rests calmly with her grey coat and gentle stance, and The Galloway Bunch brings three portraits together in celebration of the whole herd.
